continued his consistent scoring as the Rams
extended their streak.  Owen Powers set up two of the
Ram goals as they moved their record to 7-4 after
starting the season 1-3.  Tyler Carbone turned aside
11 shots to pick up the win.
Cheshire Girls Fall to Mercy
The young Cheshire Girls basketball team is growing up fast.  The first quarter
against state power Mercy was evidence.  The Lady Rams  played Mercy straight
up throughout the quarter, playing physical and not being intimidated.  The quarter
ended 13-13.  Mercy went on to win the game but we caught a glimpse of what the
future of this program will be.  Kelly Riddle scored 12 points for the Rams but the
emergence of Sophomores Maria Blois, Lauren DeBisschop and Julia Strobel will
send a message to the rest of the SCC for next year.
